1. Bathroom mobility accessibility
  1. The accessible toilet in each accessible guestroom bathroom is centered 18" from the adjacent side wall to permit use of the grab bars.
  2. The toilet has a horizontal grab bar along the adjacent side wall at least 42" long, mounted 33"-36" above the floor.
  3. The accessible toilet has a horizontal grab bar along the wall behind the toilet at least 36" long, mounted 33"-36" above the floor.
  4. The lavatory is no more than 34" high with at least 29" clearance under the front edge.
  5. Faucets are easily operable (levers, wrist blades, single arm, etc.) and usable with one hand.
  6. Clear floor space for wheelchair turning: a 60" diameter circle or T-turn.
  7. Adequate approach space at the bathroom door from the pull side.
  8. Alternate roll-in shower compartment is 36" wide and 60" deep, with a 36" wide entry at one end of the long side.
  9. Shower grab bars meet ADA dimensional standards.
2. Room mobility accessibility
  1. Entry and interior doors (except shallow closet doors) provide at least 32" clear passage width.
  2. Door hardware is operable with one hand without tight grasping, pinching, or twisting.
  3. At least 18" clear floor space on the latch side on the pull side of doors.
  4. Accessible desk surface height between 28" and 34" with at least 27" knee clearance.
  5. Accessible route to tables; clear floor area 30" × 48" at accessible seating, extending 19".
  6. Accessible rooms with two beds: minimum 36" between beds for wheelchair transfer.
3. Accessible parking
  1. Accessible spaces have or share an adjacent access aisle.
  2. Slopes of spaces and aisles are less than 1:50.
  3. Each space has a visible accessibility sign mounted high enough when a vehicle is parked.
  4. Level surfaces free of built-up curb ramps that impede transfers.
  5. Accessible parking is closest to the lobby and accessible guestroom entrances.
