You may visit motelmed.com anonymously. We collect personal information only when you provide it to us through one of the following:

• When you reserve a room: your name, email address, phone number, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, and any special requests you choose to share. Reservations and payment are handled on our secure booking page.
• When you check in: a valid photo ID is reviewed at the front desk to verify your reservation.
• When you contact us: the email address, phone number, or chat message you send, along with the contents of your message.
• When you opt in to marketing emails: your email address. You can unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing message, or by emailing us.
• Automatically when you browse the site: standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. This is what every website collects automatically.

We group cookies into four standard categories. You can review and adjust which ones you allow any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in our site footer.

• Strictly Necessary Cookies. These keep the website running and can't be switched off. They're only set in response to things you do — like setting your privacy choices, signing in, or filling out a booking form. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site may stop working.
• Performance Cookies. These help us count visits and see where they come from so we can improve the site — which pages get the most attention, how guests move around. The data is aggregated and anonymous; it's not tied to you personally.

AI is not used to make automated decisions about you that carry legal or similarly significant consequences.

To run the hotel and this website, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers. They access your information only as needed to provide their service to us, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

• Our property management software — where reservations are stored so we can manage your stay, check you in, and bill your room.
• Our website host — the company that serves motelmed.com to your browser. They see the same server logs we do.
• Communications providers — the email and (where used) SMS systems that send your booking confirmations and stay-related messages.
• Government and legal requests — only when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of guests and staff.

• Encryption. Information you send through motelmed.com travels over HTTPS / TLS encryption.
• Access is limited. Reservation details are accessible only to Motel Mediteran staff who need them to manage your stay.
• Payment data isolation. Card numbers are processed by our property management software, not stored on motelmed.com. At check-in, card information is handled on-property by trained staff.

• Access. Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to fix anything that is wrong.
• Deletion. Ask us to delete your information. We may retain limited records (such as past reservations) for tax and legal recordkeeping, and will tell you if that applies.
• Marketing. Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing message, or by emailing us.
• How to ask. Email info4motelmed@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy request.” We respond within 30 days.

• Right to know. You may ask us to disclose what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.
• Right to delete. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to the legal exceptions described above.
• Right to correct. You may ask us to fix any inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Right to opt out of “sale” and “sharing.” You may direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Email us to submit a request.
• Right to limit sensitive information use. This right applies to categories of sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, or financial account login credentials).
• Right to non-discrimination. Exercising any of these rights will not affect your room rate, your stay, or the service we provide.
• California Shine the Light (Civil Code §1798.83). California residents may request once per year a list of the categories of personal information shared with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, email us.

• Legal basis. We process your information to fulfill our contract with you (your reservation), for legal obligations (tax records), and, where applicable, with your consent (marketing emails).
• Your rights. You have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, as well as to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
• Transfers. Motel Mediteran is located in California, USA. If you book from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

• Children. Motelmed.com is intended for adult guests booking a stay. The site is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
• Third-party links. Pages on motelmed.com may link to outside sites such as Google Maps, Booking.com, or Instagram. We are not responsible for those sites’ privacy practices — please review their policies if you have concerns.
• Changes. When we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be summarized at the top of this section.
